E350 V6 petrol engine

Amen: I was about to post the same. It’s always cheaper to delay purchase but the real problem is just finding a good car, if you’re fussy.

Do your research, work out the real options and then pounce when you see the right thing.

But know that no-one in their right mind buys a n old car between November and Easter: use that to your advantage in buying and be aware that it’s a disadvantage when selling
I'll have to ask you to go in detail about the november easte period. I might be missing something I don't know.

A good car may not hang about unless it's over priced and you'd kick yourself....

I have had the M276 variant in my last and current cars so cannot comment on the vintage you are looking for
What body style is it (coupe, saloon, vert estate)?
It's not only the engine you need to scrutinise ......
Estate to be honest. I can't live without the space :))

People don’t like inspecting cars in the cold, dark and wet unless they absolutely have to. Grab a torch and stand in your garden for half an hour at 6.30 one evening for details.

So folks don’t turn up / stay at home and prices soften. As soon as clocks “spring forward” you have to fight enquiries off with a baseball bat.

All that said, you’re more likely to find hen’s teeth than a V6 petrol estate in a good spec / condition / mileage, so grab one when you see one. There really aren’t very many around to buy.

Or do the sensible thing and buy an e500 estate instead.
