E350CDI Model year 2010/2011

Hi to all,

I an existing owner of a E320CDI sport and I am looking to buy a very late E350 sport in May/June on a 10 plate, what spec changes have there been if any since Sept 09, what should I look for and can you give me VIN No's to confirm the build.

I have been cought out before buying a late plate only to find that the car had been in a field somewhere for three months.

ask the dealer to print off the system sheet for the car .. that will have the build date on it

Thanks good idea, but knowing what spec changes there have been in advance would be more help.

Why not just order something weird on it like a fire extinguisher or an ash tray so they have to build it. Chances of someone ordering either to leave sitting in a field are remote.

Hm..... both can be retrofitted.

Perhaps going for something more "technical"?

i just looked at the cheapest options on the list.

heated steering wheel? heated rear seats? rear airbags?

All those are from about £200 -£320 as the fire ex was £80

Not really , the rear of a car isnt child seat friendly with them fitted and im not sure you can disable them as easilly as the front passenger seat. Do they fit the transponder to the rear seats too?

IIRC it has rear window bags in the rear but you can have rear side bags as an option.

I do agree though that it would be better if these were standard, especially since I doubt many people order them as an option (I didn't and I got a lot of options!).
