So, not driven her much recently and she keeps dropping at the rear, both sides and right on it's ****. I start her up and press the button to raise her up and she normally does this but tonight, nothing, still on her ****.

Is there a quick temp fix to at least get her raised to go to a garage other than pressing the buttons in the centre console?

I'm away offshore tomorrow so she will be sitting for 2 weeks in my garage.

Added to that, anyone on here running with coilovers on their e55, seem more appealing to me and i could get her sitting with a nice stance with some spacers on, done the same with my C5 RS6 after it's air suspension failed.

Thanks for any guidance.

Have you considered replacing the factory bags with Arnott ones? I have them installed in my S211 and it retains the original airmatic functionality. With the Arnott kit, there is no need to drop the subframe because its self contained and does not require the separate reservoir.

With regards to coilovers, I have experience in KW brand, used them for other car makes, and can advice they have been very good. They are a bit dearer than BC coilovers but the KW brand are German engineering, so goes with the German automotive theme, KW Automotive GmbH.

Anyways here some links to the coilovers that you may want to consider?

Please check correct fitment

I was looking into the Arnott ones however i was going to get the car lowered and set up nicely with some lowering links if staying with the bags and going with 19" alloys etc.

However i'm also now thinking of just getting the coilovers done and spacers and then keeping my original 18" alloys and having her sitting with a nice stance.

Thanks for the tips, i'll go look and read up on some of the choices of coilovers.

Car is definitely not raising up so looks like i'm going to have to get her picked up recovered.
