As as some of you know my 2002 w211 e55k has a Suspension fault were she sits down 15mm lower on the nsr.

Ive had "Airmatic Visit Workshop" symbol come up in white once in the wet once in the dry, Car doesnt overally loose height when sat overnight.

Pulled these codes today

Component N15/3 (ETC [EGS] Control unit defective, Component N15/3 is faulty

Recovery time during filling of central reservoir is too long 005503

Then

Pressure line system leaks 05508

Any pointers as daft as it seems would be ace :)

This is where I got mine from:

I have just replaced all four air springs, new piston ring, filter and compressor mounting bracket on mine.
You can replace the piston ring with the compressor in the car but if you remove the compressor, take care with the spindly legs that the bracket has. They are 4mm threads and shear at the first opportunity.

If you end up changing an air spring, you will need one of these:
Silverline 760004 Plastic & Rubber Tube Cutter 3 - 12.7mm | eBay

To trim off the ends of the air pipe to ensure a good seal.

Lyserman you are a Star thankyou.

Car didnt loose any height at all over night, But now sitting 630mm frt 630 osr 610nsr wen parked outside work? weird? tried to raise the car which it did and have no warnings :/

I'm think when driving the car sometimes the pump cant keep up and looser's air through the piston ring in the pump.

Going to check the valve block later today fingers crossed.

Little update, with the help from a friend, Started the car up and the compressor kicked it, Sounded abit drunk and rattled , But the car raised.

Whilst the pump was running we sprayed the valve block with fairy liquid and there wasn't any leaks. Finger's crossed going to fit and new piston ring and seal when it turns up and go from there.

If you take the pump apart look at the bore before you order a Piston ring kit , if it is you "May" get away with wet & dry & polish the scores out ,but if there are marks there a new pump is best, saves you having to take it all apart again. Also while you have it apart ,renew the Silca .

* new one the easiest option
