E63 collected

Hi everyone,

Just collected my 2014 E63 the other day, I was a member on here before when I had the c63, since then I've had a golf R and X5 but I felt the Amg itch again and had to get back into one......

Loving the car so far, but in true me fashion I will be doing things to it,

Next week,

Private plate M19YLR (done already)
Brake calipers painted -red
Black boot spoiler painted and fitted, gloss black
Wing mirrors gloss black
Maybe badges blacked out.

2-3 weeks at MSL

Lsd
Remap
Resonator delete

Future possible

Weistec upgrade

So that's the boot spoiler on and calipers bright red with black AMG badge. I like!!

Question, do I do the mirrors black? And what about the chrome bits? .... Thoughts if you please? Don't want to go over board.

Mine has black mirrors, think they were like that from factory on mine. Debating the black lettering at the moment, not sure if I would change all the chrome to black though, but obviously if you like it you could at least try it...........

I've got the black lettering on its way, I think I'm going to do the mirrors and the lettering then leave it alone. Oh and change the centre caps!

E63 mapped at MSL today...

Had my first trip to MSL today for a stage 1 remap.

I don't really know how to put the outcome into words other than to say it's a completely different car! The performance is just incredible in comparison and with an output of 708 bhp / 855 ft lbs of torque, it's no wonder.

I was greeted by Acid, that guy is a genius and one busy bloke, never seen so many cars waiting for his or his teams attention. Literally half way down the street and a garage full of cars.

The e63 even sounds different, that I was not expecting from a map. I had my c63 remapped and I thought that made a difference but to transform a car into what feels like a supercar in 3 hours is awesome.

I'll let acid post his video as the one I took is rubbish, if you haven't had your e63 mapped. DO IT! [emoji12]
