There sure is fatty mine gained 40% in value.
Nothing wrong with the plate, but it does have massive spec.
These engines can suffer from head bolt issues which could stretch and fail. It's a $10-15k job here in the UK to fix it before it breaks.
As far as cheap AMG's go. My W210 E55 was Toyota reliable. The S55K that I had after it was also pretty solid, although I had to go into the suspension a few times.

Massive spec? About the only thing in the dealer's list which was an option is the pano roof.
