I went thru all possible threads about EGR on 320CDI and I cant find any info as how long does it take to remove it and clean it. I would like to know if I need any other parts/gaskets to do it properly. Do you think I can have some problems doing job of cleaning EGR? I need to check it as my car smoke excesivly under heavy load.

Why not just blank it off? You will need to put an electronic shunt in though to fool the MAF.

How to mark this as SOLVED?

It took me about 4 hours to do it but it was worth it. I disconnected fuel lines near fuel filter. Removed EGR, EGR cooler, mixing chamber, loose intake pipe and holding bracket and another hour on cleaning table and I was able to acheive very clean result as well as finally no smoke from tail pipe.

have you got time to do mine:)

Well... maybe. :P How much? :D hehe... Its not as hard.

It you have a set of basic star shape sockets and 1/2 drive extension and rachet... you can do it yourself. Just take your time. Im a ****ty mechanic so this is why it took so long. Someone better could do it in half of that time. Including cleaning as well.
