My CLK has been off the road for about 4 weeks,When i was out in it yesterday i noticed the rear fog light warning light inside the car was on.
I then discovered that when i had the key in my hand but the boot lid open that the ignition lights were on (also the boot doesn't appear to unlock with the rest of the doors) I then spotted that none of the lights on the boot lid appear to be working i.e centre brake light rear fog light reversing lights boot interior light.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that, i was thinking possibly water ingress as the car has been lying on an incline in a driveway for a few weeks.Although the floors are dry as is the boot.

They can do rear things when the battery runs down. Could also be a rear SAM (signal acquisition module) fault, maybe?

Try charging the battery first?

Sorry - no idea why I wrote "rear things" - I meant weird things!

Lots of odd warnings / symptoms etc can pop up when the battery gets low.

I thought that was what you meant lol

Update-Charged the battery, now with the bootlid open the ignition comes on press the footbreak and the ignition goes back off(this is with the keys in hand) the lights on the bootlid ie the number plate lights are all really dim interior boot light also very dim.
Anyone got any idea before i have to head to an indie?

Booked into TJ's in Glasgow tomorrow lets hope he gets to the bottom of this nonsense.
