Hi,
I've just joined and was hoping somebody would be able to offer some advice?!!
We've recently bought a 2005 clk 320,
Love it to bits , it drives beautifully and has no engine issues (not that we know of anyway!!)
A few weeks after buying it,, the srs light came on. We plugged it into the diagnostics and it said the passenger side child recognition sensor is faulty. Seeing as it only comes on now and again (when the chair is moved!!) we decided to leave it for now. A few days later the dash lights stopped coming on when the key is turned then they all come on when we start the car, (but stay on for a few minutes flickering) and the clock spins round and round. This happens every morning.
We read that this could be the battery, so have changed it, started the car the following morning, and all was ok, until the next day!! It's now started again. My questions is: could this be linked to the srs light? Or does it mean that we may have bought a car with numerous electrical issues?
Any advice any of you could offer would be greatly appreciated!!
