I use an MS outlook email client for my email address.

I have been sending someone (a member on here emails). I type them in arial font 10.

The issue is the recipient on here gets them in a massive font, and in the email string of conversation shows the emails I sent in a massive font.

When I copy out of the email client and into MS word the email he sends is sudddenly in size 100 font and mine remains as size 10.

What can I do, or he do to change it?

Depends on the email client he is using on some clients there is the font setting and number and then there is a setting that multiplies the number to increase font size, this is a particular issue with Lotus Notes settings,so that could be the issue?

I am using MS office 2003 client.

I email heaps of folk and their replies are in the same font. When he replies the email goes mad. I don't know what client they are using but being a bt email address it might be a simple setting.

The problem is at his end not yours.

What email client does he use, what fonts are installed and ho has he set up his email client to reply? (it is possible to configure replies to so this)

It's moi that is the problem. I use Outlook Express with BT Yahoo mail same as I've always done. Nobody else (to my knowledge) has a prob with my sent mail and nobody elses incoming displays itself at font size 100. I'd be happy to learn to the contrary.

What is your default font on replies in OE?

Derek, just replied on MS outlook to your mail, can you see ok?

^ Arial 10

So what i outlook set to do on replies? Usually it is set to indent or change colour or font of original text.

have you tried replying using webmail client instead of OE?

Weird, the reply I have sent where my mention lotus notes is sent from MS outlook.
I have emailed you just now with no subject re tailgating.

yes, used the webmail are Derek said all ok.

He mentioned this at the GTG re emails I have sent him.
I have replies from other emails and they do not appear in large font sent from my email client.

All the script in the 'tailgaiting' mail is huge. Spike....this is a newly generated mail by *** and not one I have replied to. All I did was open it: so any edit fault in my 'reply' scenario was not effected.

Thats effing bizarre.

Sent on in Arial 6 in red font and indented in, I could barely read it as the font was so small.
