Engine codes

Can anyone tell me what engine this is from the code? 102 236 08 38 The engine is in a 190e but there is some confusion as to weather its a 1.8, 2.0, or 2.3.

Any help would be muchly apreciated

I have looked at the WIS I have all the 102 codes have a 9XX number second not the 236 number you have ie 102.910.xx.xxx. Do you have the full VIN number this might help?

Yep, sorry. Ive just been doing some searching myself and the code is totaly wrong. Not enough numbers for a start.

Ive no VIN no im afraid as the car aint mine. Il try and get more details.
