Engine cutting out

In the last couple of weeks the engine on my w208 clk320 has cutout for no apparent reason & has never done so before.Both times the engine has only been running a few minutes so hadn't reached it's normal running temperature the 1st time i was breaking for a set of lights & the second time(this morning) was breaking for a roundabout.On both occasions once the car was stationary & in park it started ok & problem didn't re-occur,any ideas before i get it hooked up on star anyone?

CPS (crank position sensor).

But, get the codes read.

Thanks for the quick reply,will get codes read,is it likely to be an expensive fix if it is the cps?
