Engine management light and srs light

Hi,

I have engine management light illuminated, which after a visit to the MB garage they tell me is the airflow sensor. I changed sensor with a new one but light still illuminates and shows as a faulty airflow sensor. Any ideas what could be the problem without spending another £1500 to replace something that doesn't work? Also srs light is illuminated. Any ideas what could be the problem? It is a 1995 c 200k.

I would also like to know about the SRS light... it is really irritating having this massive red blob on the dials!

you still have to clear the fault sometimes, even though there is a new sensor. You can try ignition on, then off for a minute a couple of times, but if that doesn't do it you need the fault codes to be read and erased. I would suggest a dealer or find someone with a hand held OBD scanner
