Engine not cranking..!
Key on “1”: SRS light is turning on for three seconds and turning off...
Key on “2”: All lights on, not the SRS light...
Trying to turn on: Not a click... Fulll silence only the radiator fan is turning full speed...
What might be the problem and of course the solution..?

Have you done a load test on the battery and if good, checked for clean connectors?

The battery is new...
Reading other threads and other forums it seems to me that my problem might be related to a K40 relay issue... Any such experience..?

Could be a problem with the starter inhibitor switch at the base of the gear selection lever, or possibly a faulty ignition switch?

A new battery is not necessarily a good battery. I would check it.

Battery is OK... The K40 relay and 15A fuses look normal...
Just a question about the 40A fuseof the K40 relay...
Is this shape is correct..? Or blown up..?
If everything OK on this front what to look next..?

Yesterday evening cleaned the K40 relay and the connections with electronic cleaning spray... Recentered the coil of the transponder... Tried the car with the spare key... Result: WROOOOM...
Tried to move the car this morning...
A big “thump" and the transmission went into “limp mode”...
Took the car to an independent MB service...
Left engine mounting bloc was defective... Changed both...
Back home: WROOOOM and WROOOOM...
Life is beuatiful and even better with SLK...
Work: two hours... Cost: 303,- US dollars parts included...
