Can someone please tell me where on the engine I will find the engine number. Thankyou

It should be stamped on the top or side of the engine block towards the rear.

Or check your v5 logbook for engine number

If you post your VIN number on the forum someone will look up the vehicles data card [ with the engine number]
Even when you know where the engine number is located it may be obscured by ancilliary equipment associated with the inlet or exhaust while in the car?
