W203 C220 CDI
Hi this is my first post on this site. I drive a 2006 w203 c220 cdi that recently has been running really bad. I noticed it go into limp mode a few weeks back, after turning the car off and on again it would be fine for a while then I'd be limited revs again, then one night driving home the engine management light came on in my dials, the next day i had a diagnostics check done and it returned the MAF as being the cause of the problem, I have fitted a new MAF but the car seems to be running worse than before, it's using a lot of diesel, will be in limp mode constantly and I have noticed a lot of diesel smoke on the rare occasion that I have kick down available. If anyone has any suggestions on what the problem could be it would be much appreciated its beginning to become an expensive issue.

Thanks

Tom

Find a specialist close to you... (not sure where you are...) get them to read the codes and establish the underlying cause.. there are so many things it could be on a modern turbo diesel....

Thanks for the reply, im in Kent, I've read a lot about the egr valve and intake manifolds but like you said I'm best off finding a specialist
