E230 1996 W210 AUTO model.
The revs seem to have a mind of their own ??
Sometimes they are so low that the car stalls at traffic lights other times they are so high that as soon as you let go of the brake when in drive the car lunges forward !!!
Can make for some really hairy driving in town ....
The car has had a recent full service - plugs, filters, oil etc
Doing my nut in !!!
Switch on the ac and the car wants to cut out if you are in traffic.
Try a three point turning the revs are so low that steering wheel loses power..
Has anyone had similar experiences - where would I look to first ??
I have seen threads regarding MAS sensors etc - does this car have one ? could this be a likely candidate for such probs and how much is one of these ?
