"2002 e220 estate diesel", before starting I wait for injector heater plug warning light to go out, start engine 3 sec later heater plug light is back on for 35 sec goes out and stays out untill the engine is stopped, then it is the same again engine hot or cold,is it anything to worry about or are the heater plug/plugs likely to burn out.

Yes but be careful as they can snap off when undone.
Get the engine hot and just work them out steadily. If one is suck use diesel or coka-cola as a penetrating fluid and just work them forwards and backwards until out.
