Hi
I have just bought a 2003 e class 270 cdi and I was driving it around and a message came up on the Dash Service Brake Fault-visit work shop.
I went to my local Mercedes workshop and they put it on the Mercedes Star Diagnostic system.There were no current faults showing just a couple of stored ones that he erased.The SBC SYSTEM was then disabled and booted up again and again no current faults were showing.I left the garage all pleased with the service I had received and on my way home the fault came up again on the dash.When I then switched the engine off and the message one malfunction appeared with an up and down arrow.Pressed the arrow on the steering wheel and the fault cleared but I am sure it will appear again.Has anyone had a similar experience or any idea what the problem could be?
