ESP control unit help

Can anyone help me track down a used/recon control unit for my ESP.
The part number is MA036 540 04 01. I have searched high and low and haven't had any luck so far. MB want £681 for one but to be fair thats not enough value in the car to spend that sort of money on it.

What is the problem with your one.

Can yours not be sent away for repair to somewhere like bba reman.

Thanks for the response, tbh I don't know exactly what the problem is.
I was driving the car when the ABS and ESP warnings came on the dash and the ABS yellow warning light cam on, I wasn't far from home so I carried on with the intention of leaving on the drive and getting it to a specialist the following day, as I got a bit closer to home the gearbox shifted down to 2nd and the tiptronic function stopped working. (Limp mode i believe).
I took it to Merc Stourbridge yesterday, because they are the closest with a Star machine that I know to, and they relieved me of £60 and gave me a report to state that the ESP control unit was knackered along with left and right rear RPM and speed sensors.
Unfortunately I cant find the part number in my first post anywhere.

Where did you get the part number from?

@Savman. From the report that Merc gave me, although im starting to doubt its actually a part number.

Personally i would get it diagnosed correctly as i cant see all three items have failed at the same time.

I am going to get it into an indy like MLS I think and see what they reckon.

Your ESP ECU is part of the ABS pump, its the black control unit that is bolted to it. Most breakers will sell and advertise as ABS pump, take a look at yours and check the part number.
Have to agree with Andy strange that all 3 are faulty.
