On the last two cold starts, after the revs have dropped to normal tickover, the revs go back up again, idling up and down between 1000-1200 rpm, and the ESP warning light comes on and stays on. The engine will then not respond to the accelerator, and switching the ESP switch on and off does nothing. On restarting the engine yesterday, it was fine.
Today, it's just happened again, but went through the same process twice. Once warm, on my return journey, it started as normal.
Any ideas please?
