Since a key phrase appears to to be "average of 120 gms/kilometer" in the present legislation can we expect Mercedes showrooms to be filled with Smarts ( badged as mini-mercs ) in the future together with the odd S class petrol v8. ---- Buy an S class and get a Smart free to keep your "average" down. This loophole might of course be closed by the more stringent across the board levels proposed.
