Hi all,

After some advice. I have a C32 and am looking to get a Eurocharged ECU flash. The nearest place to me is CKS in Watford. Has anybody got any experience of them? What sort of gain am I looking at? Is it worth the £300 that I'm going to pay? I was also considering the pulley upgrade but cash is a bit tight as I am going to get a service before the tune.

You would see around 18bhp gain from a remap.

Personally i would look at saving up and getting both the pulley and tune done at the same time.

Who are you going to get to do the service as i would get them to test the charge cooler pump as well as these are prone to failing so if you are looking at getting a tune i would be looking to upgrade this first.
 
I got a price from Wayne Gates of £270 for a full service.

So you would recommend the checking the cooler pump. I have seen the Johnson CM30 pump is the recommended route?

Would having this done before the remap make any difference to the results?

If the pump fails it causes the power to be reduced as it puts more fuel into the cylinders to cool them down and shuts off the kompressor as the intake air temp rises too high

Is the car totally standard.
 
It's totally standard to my knowledge.

Not sure what's included I know it's a 'B' service. It certainly doesn't feel low on power but at times can be a little sluggish at low rev's if it doesn't drop a gear.
 
One test for the pump would be a couple of hard pulls on the motorway if after a couple it still pulls ok the pump should be ok.

But if you are going to eventually go for a pulley upgrade i would look to upgrade to a johnson pump to help with cooling.

All of the above work i offer as well.

As Andy has said he can look after you on all of the above mentioned and he is our dealer up there..
