The way I would look at it is, am I happy with the car, and if so, then how important is android auto to me, if it is important, then I would get a few quotes to add it, and if prices are near enough similar, then that confirms that X amount is the going rate, and therefore would pay it and enjoy the feature and the car, life is just too short.
