Hi folks

Is there an option other than welding to fix a bracket back on the pipe?

Maybe some sort of heat resistant metal glue ?

The two parts marked in blue join in the middle, and the end marked in red has come away from the pipe

Im sure you could make something from that flat builders bar with loads of holes in with the galvanised finish.

Then 1 exhaust clamp u type one on each pipe and put the threaded bits of the clamp through the flat bar.

Bit like this if you see what i mean?

Why so much effort... Welding a bracket on takes no more than about 10 minutes (on the assumption it isn't to far gone...) It would probably work out more cost effective than faffing about trying to make something & having to buy the parts than the local garage would charge you for a 10 minute welding job...

Not all of us are welders - - - Or have access to welding equipment.
I've often cobbled up brackets using a U-clamp and various pieces fastened across one or both securing nuts.
