Hi there,
New here so quick intro.
Live in Blackpool names dave 21 years young drive the following
1998 mercedes benz c23 kompressor sport w202

Would like to get a full stainless steel exhaust system from the front.
Would like it to have four exhausts at the back (twin either side)
And would like a slight gain in power and performance and also a sporty sound.

Can anyone help me on this because I have searched the web and e-mailed people and come back with no prices and no info.

Mods are as follows.
Full kit (don't know which sort think it's amg was on it when I got it)
New clutch kit
dvd tv etc,
Amg badges and styling
laptop and internet kit
becker high speed system

Mods to follow
Nitrous wet direct port
full tints all round
full stainless.

you will probably loose power with a 4 exit exhaust!

there are a few people who will make it for you, powerflo is one that comes to mind.

Loss

Surely the loss would be made over by the sports cat and better exhaust system.

I don't really mind if the looks don't change at the rear of the car at the moment the exhaust is not visible it's tucked under the bumper aiming down.

What about just a twin?

I have e-mailed some companies again and still got nada.

Anyone know an approximate price for what I'm after.

Power gain would be negligible IMO.

Sporty sound, certainly. That's why I changed my exhaust.

Hope your insurance company are OK with mods., you know you have to declare anything that's not factory standard for that specific car. That includes body kit, exhaust, wheels, window tints, etc.

I pay a fully comprehensive insurance cover
I declare everything including my mods, full time employment and other businesses and mail order.

Just because I am 21 doesn't mean I am some sort of criminal.

TBH though I am forever getting pulled and raced by business men and the reason I got the thing was to get away from the whole scally boyracer thing.

My defense is due to the past problems I have had.

At the end of the day my laptop was 300 notes from tesco and the tv was already in the car when I got it.

So allllllll that aside.
If I went to some meets etc am I likely to get a bad response for looking young?

I have trouble getting served for fags.

You may find you get more issues as you continue to 'mod' the vehicle - Nitrous, Quad Exhaust, Tinting etc etc

Nothing wrong with personal expression though.

And no I dont think age would be a factor at meets.

You can really only tint the back.

Front tints can be maybe 20% so you WOULD be visible.

Twas more the combination of all the things.

Plus I'd hazard a guess your insurance wouldn't touch you with a 100bhp shot of NOS...

As long as the tints alow 70 % of light through at the front they are legal.
The rest of the car as dark as you like.
Generally when the whole lots done it is very difficult to see into the vehicle from most angles.

The nitrous issue started off bad but since a proven safety measure video was presented to insurance companies displaying an attemped overtake of a lorry most insurance companies. Including mine. Are happy to have it fitted to their clients vehicles.

The exhaust was mostly for the tuning side. With some good headers and a bit more flow it would help things a bit. Thus why I wanted a sporty sound rather than a loud fart sound.

people have a massive misconception of vehicles and need to get out more.

Not a huge unusuality in the boy racer world.
