Exhaust

Hi all, my exhaust is making a little more noise than normal, the noise is coming from the boxy bit in the exhaust that sits pretty much right under the gearbox... any idea what that part is (And what it may cost to replace)?

I'll be getting the whole thing replaced eventually, but that bit seems a bit more urgent! To be honest, it looks very much like it's still the original exhaust!

Try Euro Car Parts or (GSF) German Sweedish And French. They seem to be very reasonable and i have used them many times. The both have internet sights. Good luck


GSF have a Cat and down pipe for £175 if its a twin down pipe and £125 for a single downpipe and Cat

Would this have any effect on performance untill its fixed? It sounds almost like it's blowing back a little bit

Note that Euro Car Parts part numbers are significant: those ending with a zero are OEM quality; others aren't.

Out of curiosity, what would it cost to replace my entire exhaust system? Also, does anyone have any reccomendations to good folks?
