I bought as a project a couple of months ago and never really got started and just outing now as i need the insurance back !
The two front arches and the tailgate has just been tarted up (not pretty) but ok from a distance
Rest of body not too bad - not a rot box by any stretch
The windscreen could do with changing due to delamination
wheels are scabby
But the main problem is there may or may not be a problem with the gearbox. When I drove the car back from buying the gearbox was fine but now after sitting for 2 months theres a vibration when you put it in drive - seems ok once you actually drive off. Strangely yesterday after having ramps on the rear end and the car was leaning forward for a few hours, when i drove off the the vibration had gone completely !!! But this morning after settling the vibration was back.
So it may just need a AT Fluid change or the box may need attention - who knows
So its taxed and tested and a reasonable car which you could run into the ground for 6 months then break for good money !!!!
