You can say what you want........... You still will not get me envious :) :)

You would think that Hamilton would have demanded:o ;) to be at Silverstone. It is a free ticket to carry out extensive practice before the British grand Prix and any information they can get about the track will be beneficial.

As an aside, it was a well known fact that Senna hated testing sessions so perhaps the helmet colours are passing on at least some of Senna's quirks.

Your still a Jammy dodger
and
I'm still envious
Regards
John

ps Don't get too sun burnt

Well I'm back. 250 mile round trip 4 1/2 hours driving-but a great day out. VERY noisy, I was glad of my ear plugs after 10 minutes. Thousands of people there at £12 per head plus £3 for a Testing day program........So someone made some money.

John you are right, Massa was a second a lap quicker but he stayed out most the day. He must have put in a Grand Prix distance in. Thats got to help come the Grand Prx.
EDIT: For those going the acess is only between Nuffield and Club. There is no general access to Copse, Hanger Straight. This means whilst there are lots of Grand stands open, Nuffield is the only covered one if its wet or hot. Also some Pit Lane girls handed out adverts offering Paddock entry fot £10 there and then.

The more I hear about this driver the more I get to like him.

In his first season at Ferrari whenever he was allowed he could out perform shumacher, but his wet weather driving skills were woeful. This season he is getting to be the complete package and I just hope he will be able to race against Kimi?

I do hope Hamilton does well at Silverstone; we need an English World champion:) :o :o

Were all the engines as noisy as each other or could you differentiate between them and estimate what noise was coming from what car engine?

It sounds like testing events are becoming far more commercialised than they used to be.

Regards
John the very envious

No the Ferrari sounded louder and more intense and you could tell it was Massa before he got to a corner. Button trundled around......

  :D :D Ouch!!!! :D :D Mega ouch, don't let Scumbag read that comment :) I must confess to not being a fan of Jenson Henman and fear he will be the 'nearly' man.

I wish I could have seen Massa, he sounds like he was putting in 110%, fingers crossed that his dedication gets rewarded. It sounds like he has won you over?

Was Kimi there?

regards
John the inquisitive

No Kimi was down the pub or something. This car was though! (Best photo of the day-He was doing 180mph ish!)

You can take a lot of photos to get one good one, I took this a couple of years ago at Silverstone, first outing for the DBR9, it was great to be a guest of Aston that day!

I am investing in a new camera, going DSLR for the first time, that one was a point and shoot Olympus and I was frustrated with the shutter response. Does anyone have experience of the Nikon D80?

I,m sorry i have no idea what that means:(
 I think it means:

John
