fallen in love with my Merc again

I brought a new Wiper blade yesterday from GSF which was a enormous £11.75, I fitted it today when it turned up and I have fallen in love with my Merc again over it. I can now see where I am going, My wiper is silent and it has changed how I think about my car, I love it again.

Just wanted to share that with you. 12 quid and it has changed my car!!

You are dead right. It is amazing, isn't it, how such a tiny thing can make so much difference! I found time and time again when I was looking at cars with my wife last month that there all sorts of minor irritations that put me off completely.

Noisy worn-out wipers was one of those things. We'd get back, I'd point it out to the salesman, and he'd say "Oh, that'll be dead easy to fix/replace/polish out". And I'd say "why the bl**dy h*ell haven't you done it then?" and go elsewhere. It just points to sloppiness, and they are that sloppy when they are trying to get your money, how bad will they be after they have it? Rant.

Cheap, £18.44 each plus vat for the SClass. Can't fall in love at that price!!

...absolutely agree...my car hasnt had a wash or hoover for about two months, plus i had part of the front grill missing ...yesterday i replaced the grilll part, cleaned and hoovered my pride and joy and it feels sooo good... i am actually driving it slower and more carefully and taking more pride in it....nuts aint it...but it does make you feel good when your car is spot on...saying that it probably only affects us car nuts ...!!!!..most people wouldnt give a rats ass about their motor .... !!!!

Totally agree with you, spent the money and purchased a Bosh one for my W202 and what do you know I can see out the windscreen again, it's awesome.
