Just started watching Fast n Loud new series on Discovery channel. A bunch of rednecks customising a Ferrari F40. Entertaining so far. Repeated at midnight and of course on +1 at 10pm if anyone is interested.....

My favourite car thanks for posting. Not sure I want to watch someone customising one though, are they being sympathetic?

Hey J, Not exactly sympathetic, it's a crash repair job. After watching them work on the framework, I will definitely check my secondhand car purchases more carefully. Imagine if you paid hundreds of thousands for this car! You'll understand after watching! Scary!

Disagree...they are doing a fantastic job.

I have it on record but not sure I want to watch it now! It's surprising the number of these that have been through significant rebuilds due to accidents or maybe its not. But repaired by rednecks won't get it a classiche cert!

I want one just not this one by the sound of it.

Sure they are doing the job right, and spending the money the car deserves. That aside I'm not sure I would want to part with best part of a million dollars for a classic supercar that needed that amount of work. Be interesting to see how the project unfolds and if they declare the damage to prospective purchasers. It's just a cheesy American reality show at the end of the day. If I had a million dollars to spend it would be on premium Tequila at a beach bar somewhere in Mexico!

Thanks Vilus

Rednecks was probably an overstatment, they are a garage in Texas, and are getting the work done by specialists. Just light entertainment for a Wednesday evening. They paid nearly half a million for the car, and stripped it down. The frame chassis repair was amazing though.

I feel much better now and am looking forward to watching now.

It's also being repaired to Ferrari standards, and will be certified by Ferrari at the end of it.

As someone else said, worked being done by specialists and to a very high standard. Certainly different from the usual GMG vehicles.

Fast n' Loud is one of my favourite shows, and Richard Rawlings is no hillbilly. I suggest you research him a little ;)

It's a two parter that should've been shown a while ago, don't know why they delayed it. It's all done properly and certificated but the ending is a bit of a cop out...wouldn't mind a mate like his though.

Iv seen the end result.... will not be to everyones liking... different colour, different wheels etc etc...

Would like to say ruined, but to be fair to them, it was ruined when they bought it.....

It was just the new lights that offended me, otherwise I thought they'd done a good job but personally I didn't think the standard F40 was much of a looker to start with...particularly in red :)
