Boys will be boys; awash with testosterone, and maybe not too bright. The car? Wow! indeed, and can only enhance MSL's reputation with the fast boys.

If I were the driver, though, I'd be wondering if a couple of coppers, armed with the clip, wouldn't be round to 'discuss' the matter. There can't be too many 2014 A45s in that colour in the UK; not hard to spot, and they know what the driver looks like.

I think I'd shave off my moustache, and wear dark glasses a lot for a while...

No; we were all boys once. If I could have afforded something like that when I was young, I would have, but the best I could afford was a standard Cooper S. I learnt how not to drive a Mini by writing it off after a month, and I was still paying for it (bank loan) two years later. Now, if only we'd had the Nanny State and the FCA back then, I might have had somebody to try to blame other than myself...

I'd be taking the wrap off the car as well, putting a private plate on and every night reciting "I will not be such a tit again". I suspect the vid will be all over FaceTwitGram already though.

I doubt he will be crying himself to sleep (yet). given it is a 2013 plate , it is getting on towards 6 years old. he would be having to pay for dealer warranty in any case. he probably got it on the cheap given its age , and now he has w213 e63 level acceleration to 60mph and 11.4sec quarter mile. provided it doesnt blow up in his face, i would wager he is enjoying himself quite a bit at this moment... still it doesnt take away some of the issues with the A45 being namely the transmission lag and the slight lack of driver focused enjoyment.
