I built my own using bits from Maplin.

I have a document describing the blink codes and pin descriptions, no disc required

This is public domain information, so if anyone wants it, then let me know.

Here you go, it's for a CS1000 scanner, but the pin designations and fault codes are the same if you use a homebrew box or one of those from ebay.

My engine is a 300E though (or E300) and the ebay unit seems to suggest it (the ebay unit) has 16 connections and not 8, as shown in your diagram. Does that make any difference?

Sorry if I'm talking utter rubbish here, I have no understanding of this, I simply have some fault in the ABS system and really need some means by which I can diagnose what it is. And this looked like it might be a great idea.
