Fault Code

Hello all

It's being a while since I have been on here. My mother has a 1999 SLK 200 and the engine management light has being on since while so she asked me if I could find out what the problems are. She got a printout from somewhere (not sure but can find out if necessary). I have attached this below. It is the first two at the top of the page under motor electronics. Codes are P2031-004 and P201D-008. Any help on what the issues are would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

once I get rid of this neck ache from tilting my head to read your image.... All stored faults and no current. A lot of faults look to be caused by the battery being removed but you should get the upper o2 sensor checked as its showing a short to ground

Yep, sorry about that that's the way the photo uploaded (I must have done something wrong of course!)

When you say checked does that mean replace it or can the existing one be checked to see if it's faulty?

I guess get a meter on and check the cables before you spend any cash. Then get the codes cleared and re-read by someone that undertsands what star is saying.
