Well today about 5 messages appeared on my dashboard (2008CL500),Especially not available, run flat indicator unavailable, cruise control unavailable, speed limiter unavailable and HOLD function for brakes unavailable, can't surely be 5 different things appearing at the same time so likely to be some electronic jiggery pokery or some dodgy sensor somewhere, I don't know why I'm even guessing I haven't got a clue really

Start by checking the voltage on your battery. Low voltage tends to bring up spurious error messages.
A fully charged battery (12.6v+0 should see those error messages disappear.

The common factor in all the errors is wheel speed measurement. Have you had any work done on wheels or suspension recently, and I mean any? Even removing and replacing a wheel, or just cleaning around the back of one.

A dislodged wheel speed sensor (far too easy to do) will cause all those errors. Plug in a code reader and see what it says, especially around wheel speed measurement.

Thanks chaps it looks like I'll be going to my local independent tomorrow to book it in, feel better after what you've both said, doesn't sound super expensive to sort but more of a gremlinny thing
