I hate this time of year.
AMG sits in the garage while winter does its thing :(

It's been 4 weeks since I last drove it.

I head out to the garage in the evening and spend a couple of hours detailing but I've been going crazing missing it.

But yesterday, I finally got the chance to take it out

While at work, I could see it was a nice day, with lots of sun and dry roads.

So I got in, went for my run (also gave me a chance to run recon on the roads ;)), had dinner and then fired her up

It was soooo good to be behind the wheel again. The car is awesome and it was great to hear that exhaust note again

Got home and cleaned it down.

Itch scratched for now..

Really need the weather to sort itself out so we can get some meets going on!

:thumb:

I finally washed mine, ok I had someone wash it for me. It was a similar feeling I forgot how nice it can look and that it is blue :D

There is still salt on the roads...

Hey Will :thumb:

Yes, it'll take a few spring showers to properly clean the roads down but we have pretty mild weather and a few persistent downpours down this way which served to clean the roads enough for me to venture out.

I wouldn't have gone out if the roads were wet. Thankfully they were nice and dry after a days sun.

I gave the car a thorough clean down afterwards.

I also spent 2 hours in the garage tonight going over everything again to make sure :D

Anyway... Stop trying to wind me up, innit! :D:D

Lol

Hey bud :thumb:

I'm sure there was much fun to be had!

There are times when I was tempted.

A friend of mine with a Spec C Subaru loves it when it snows and always talks about his adventures :D

I know how you feel Rash. I just want some roof down motoring again.

Yeah good times mate :D was jet washing the car off three times a week

Rash......you do make me laugh.... I should report you to the RSPCA for keeping that beast locked up all the time!! Animals need to run free..:D

Good point Phil. Conduct unbecoming could be another angle.

Rash is a good man though - he just needs to get out more - in his AMG. Crikeybobs I was even out in my 124 yesterday.

He would have died if he had seen the state of my c63 and SavMans E55 after our Hoon through the country lanes last weekend......

I used to find it strange but then I set my eyes on what must be the cleanest example that has ever actually been driven and now I understand. My favourite moment was walking through Trax at Silverstone I took Rashman for a peak of the future ;)

Hahaha! :D
Pack it in!

I have a cat from the RSPCA, so they are my friends :D

I will merely tell that that I am keeping it warm over winter :D

Fear not, the AMG will be out when the weather has improved

Hahahaha!! :D:D The future!!!! Maaaan, that was funny... and also worryingly eerie!

Thanks for your kind words bud :thumb:

I can only hope that people see there is a reason for my madness when they see the car  :D

Nice one, i know what you mean. Not driven my car since 3rd jan but once i get out of this diving chamber.. (13hrs & 15 mins of decompression remaining...can't wait !!) then i should be home on sunday so looking fwd to firing the motor up and taking it for a spin. You never know may be adding bits of carbon at some point to it as well...
