If i'm correct it wil be ready next week...

I have already ordered it directly by SB because we dont have a dealer here in The Netherlands.

Ok guys, yesterday received my Sprintbooster
I have automatic Transmission so it is the: BDD 452 A
It's so simple, 10 minutes work:
Here we go....
This is the Sprintbooster:

First unscrew the two Nuts (looks like plastic nuts) near the red dots

Now you can take of your accelerator, remove the cable that's connected:

Fit the Sprintbooster in your accelerator:

Fit the cable that came out of your accelerator on the Sprintbooster.
PUSH THE CABLE GOOD ON THE SB, the first time they didn't connect good so your car don't react if you push the accelerator.
Turn on your engine and check if your accelerator works.
If it works, turn off your engine, put you accelerator back in the position and screw the nuts back till your accelerator is well fixed.
If it doesn't works, then the cable or the SB isn't good connected.
Hope you have something on this information.
Everything you do is on your own risk.

Just tested the Sprintbooster, and it's amazing that just that little thing can do this...... i can really advise every one to get this gadget.
The accelerator reacts much faster.... i can now drive in C instead of S
It was just a little test so i cant say much more right now... but my firts impression is WOW .........

Am I the obly one that is not too keen on the SB?

That's an interesting read Stats.

Thanks

A bit expensive for something so simple. This doesn't say much for them.

Already read this a couple of times, but every one WITH the SB is enthousiast... so i thought: let's try it, and if it's nothing, than i have thrown away my money. If you don't try, you don't know.

But i have tryed it today, and i must say, my accelerator pedal is much more sensitive. And i have tryed also without the SB how the car reacts on the accelerator pedal, but WITH the SB it reacts much, much better.

It's expensive, may be to expensive... but for me it's worth the money....
It's more fun on the road, and i think if you tryed one, you will buy one for your car also....... (or not :D )

I was also a litlle sceptical after reading the "white paper thing"....
but i don't regret that i have bought it.

That is very true, but unfortunately nobody is doing the same type of gadget cheaper.

Post a request on an electronics forum - would be very easy to make one up from an RS catalogue.

Glad you like it. In my opinion one of the best and quickest mods you can do on an MB.

What a great read may take my car out to try your findings ( slow mode )drive slowly little response give it some fast responce.
this explains sometimes flat sometimes not flat ( not the cars fault ) :bannana: :bannana: :bannana: :D :D :D :D :D

Hey Tudu, how is it with the Kleeman kit??[/quote

The Kleemann header and sports cat best money ever spent on a mod. Was hoping to get the performance kit fitted this month but a couple of other things have taken precedence - hopefully all should become clear after Tues next week if all goes according to plan.

I could never go back to driving standard Merc without fitting a sprintbooster:D

Can anyone tell me where I get a sprintbooster for my 230k from... there own website doesn't list it for the car... thats w208

I think it depends what you've come from. My last few cars have had very linear pedal responses, in fact Volvo describe the accelerator as a "torque request" - 50% is 50%, 100% is 100%. If you request 100% and the computers don't think you're about to crash it'll give it you.

If you've come from a cable throttled car, which has some allowance for stretch and often will rev off its head on a brush of the throttle, then you'll not like the programmed, controlled response of an electronique torque request pedal and sprintbooster will make things feel much better.

From the group-buy thread:
I went and saw the bloke today and got the price sorted out, once and for all.:bannana: :bannana:

Ready?

£125 +vat:rock:

They will courier it to you for £7.50 + vat.

If you want one, ring 01375 36 28 28 and ask for Bill. (He's the sales manager).

To get it at this price, you MUST quote MBClub.

They are also an agent for H & R, so you could possibly get a deal there too;) ;)

Hope this helps you all.:D

No, me neither.

And after reading that tech article definately not interested...

As i said on another thread on this subject the car its fitted in the white paper is a manual - not really the ideal for testing IMO..
