Anyone have a MB finance calculator? I want to compare buying a 12 month old car versus leasing a new one.

I don't want the hassle just yet of the dealership phoning me every few days if I get them to quote me.

Is there an online app or similar, that can work out PCP or Agility payments?

Whilst I couldn't find a finance calculator for Agility I did end up asking MB to quote me for a used car, which shed some light on the matter.

Used car; C350 Sport Estate 11 plate, 13,700 miles with Comand, listed at £25,489.
Deposit £4K plus £450 for 36 months, with a £13K GFV.

New option from EGON
C350 AMG Sport Plus Saloon, no optional extras.
Deposit £2K plus £343 for 35 months.

The used option had some pricing errors and included GAP and breakdown cover, but even the sales guy said this was never going to get close to the price of buying a new car.

Good rule of thumb for working out Agility payments is use a normal personal loan calculator (Loan Amortization in MS Excel) for twice the contract period. For a 3 year contract, compare a 6 year loan.

Anyone think that buying used is a better option than new? Although I thought the list price attractive, it just goes to show how good current finance offers can make a new purchase.
