What kind of advice are you looking for? Did you buy the car?

Check that the boot & rear passenger carpets are dry, early A Classes were renown for the seals of the air vents behind the rear bumper to fail, causing water to get into the car. Replacement of the seals is an easy job but the rear bumper has to removed first, & drying out the carpets is a real pain, your local indie garage will charge about £400.
