First time Mercedes Man

Well, almost! Collect my new (to me!) Mercedes A140 Classic after work tomorrow and I am so excited to be picking it up.
I admit I am now a member of the MB Club purely by chance. I had no intention of buying a car like this when my Focus decided to die on me last Sunday but I was really taken by the look of the A Class when I saw it and was even more pleased when I sat inside and had a drive.
Never thought the day would come when I would own a Merc! Look forward to being part of the forum and finding lots of tips and help when required

I see Lofty has discontinued adding to his site but its still a gold mine for early W168 owners. The baby benz site is current AFAIK but a little light on the technical side imho. You are more likely to get an answer to a technical question here.
