Purchased the Fiscon Pro Mercedes from Mercedes Comand Navigation and Audio Specialists as supply only (Our forum sponsors)

Well packaged with speedy delivery and great comms.

1. The Unit - note the production date

2. Out came the Vents - I used Original Mercedes pulling hooks to remove the vents without a fuss.

3. The mic that was supplied was what looked like a Parrot mic (it even had a P on the packaging) The instructions stated not to mount the mic in the OEM position (light dome) The reason for this is that it would impair sound quality as the mic comes in its own casing and it wouldnt fit in the right direction..... 2 minutes of attacking the mic with an engineers knife and I had the mic apart from the housing and dry fitted into the OEM location

4. Permanent power and ground taken from A20 plug and connected into OEM pins after using a pin extractor to remove and re-crimp (no dodgy scotch locks or dodgy stripping mb loom and soldering in sight) then finished with OEM fabric tape

5. MIC held in place with Fabric tape - look mom, no rattles!

6. Manual said something about tucking the mic behind A pillar - forget that- A pillar trim removed!! and OEM route followed

7. Cluster coded and iPhone paired

8. Fibre Bus told something now hanging off of it!

A2DP coded so CDC now operates iphone to stream music

Thanks to Richard from Mercedes Comand Navigation and Audio Specialists for supplying the parts at great prices, Thanks to Gurpz for last minute assistance and Bojo's (I think I've lost mine in the house move)
