Fitting new air vent (middle) in W124

The middle airvent on my dashboard is broken so I have a replacement one.

Has anyone removed one, and replaced one before? If so any tips on how to best do it.

All info much appreciated.

Its a W124 250 TD Estate

Just screwed in place, only tricky but is poking a long hex through the vents to release it from the duct/flaps.

Easy to break, but if you've got a new one anyway not a big problem if the old one gets battered on the way out...
