Ive been in hospital for about 3 months and my W124 battery has gone flat. The car is fitted with a Sigma alarm imobiliser and remote door opening. I am a bit worried about changing the battery and what might happen with the alarm. Has anybody got experience of this?

I've got a Sigma alarm immobilizer fitted and had the same problem this week. I just connected my battery charger for a couple of hours and the car started no problem.

I was just wondering if I used jump leads I could start it that way? or would the alarm need coding. Theres a touch pad inside
