The Nylon cover will switch the speaker on/off when opened/closed - the same way that Ipad cases work.

Can't edit the listing, the brown leather case is not part of the package. The speaker comes with nylon case as mentioned at the start of the thread & shown in pictures - failed to notice that when copying manufacturers spec for information.
