I've been waiting for literally years to see one of these come up for sale. If only it had 50,000 miles or less, it would be sold!

Possibly one of the rarest cars you'll ever see!

I have had the pleasure of driving one of these. The convertible 55 is not actually that good because they do not handle that well due to the fact that it is a cabriolet. (Wobbles about) (scuttle shake)

I thinik its a bit of a pointless car.

I don't think there is a factory hardtop for the W208, so as rare as the hardtop might be it's not an original item AFAIK.

Seem to remember hearing of problems with aircon/climate control when using a hardtop on a cab. that wasn't designed for one (because the car thinks the hood is down)?

As shude says, the hardtop was a non MB product and therefore I wouldnt be interested personally. If it aint OEM, it aint on my car!

Tempted but too many miles even if it does have FMBSH.
