FSH no service book??

A friend of mine is looking at facelift 211's and some are advertised with Full service history.

As i understand it the Service history doesn't come in a book any more. How will he know if the car Has Full history??

Receipts or ask the servicing garage nicely for confirmation?

If serviced by MB dealer, the services should be recorded on MB central computer and any dealer can obtain a printout.

If buying from an MB dealer, ask the dealer for the printout.

Failing that, as above ie receipts, though printout is more reliable / not likely to be faked.

Dealer usually gives printout and receipt after the service. I kept all printouts for my cars.
