Fuel and Air Deep Clean

Hi everyone,
I’ve booked my car in for its annual service and have been asked if I wanted a deep clean of the fuel and air which they say will get rid of any carbon deposits on the injectors and clean out the air system improving economy!
It costs £40 which is not the issue, I want to know if any of you have had this done and seen an improvement?

I like to know exactly what they do for the 40 quid.....probably an adaptive in the fuel and a spray of cleaner in the intake!!!

I thought MB were anti additives being added to anything . But I guess extra money trumps that .

Just buy an injector cleaner from Halfords for £7 .

Its just some tank and oil additives. They do work well btw.

I have just bought some genuine MB purified air to keep my tyre pressures spot on

I hope it was the genuine article; there are a lot of cheap fakes from China these days, although it's easy to spot
