Fuel Consumption 300CE-24

Following new injectors and seals, I've done the first accurate measure of consumption. Full tank in the Dordogne then to Paris (80-90 mph most of the way). A bit of messing about here and refilled:

8.2 litres/100 Km
34.6 mpg.

The new injectors (and seals?) seem to have improved hot starts, throttle response from idle and overall smoothness, especially around town and whilst parking, so that's an added bonus.

I'm well pleased that my investment of close to €500 seems to paying dividends.

double check also pipe from tank to the fuel filer/pump, i just discovered consumption increase due to leakage, worth checking in flat and elevated as it is not only consumption but really dangerous to seep petrol underneath the car (only happens when engine running)
