Fuel Indicator on ML

I just made fuel to my ML and the fuel indicator remains stuck to the same level before filling the tank.
Can anybody help me???!!

Faulty fuel sender/sensors are most likely cause...

How low was the tank when u initally topped up with fuel?

it was just below the 1/4 almost close to reserve.

The sender is jammed. It may free itself as you drive. see how it goes before you panic.

Agree... dont just replace anything yet - trick is not to allow the fuel level to get to reserve. Is it a CDI by any chance ?
