Hi,
My car is a 2003 E220 CDi Estate S211. I've 1 leaky injector that is causing long cranks and starting issues when cold.
As its an old car with 200K miles, I am planning to buy a used/ refurbished one to get me going again.

When I check online, I am getting numerous part numbers for C/E/S class and various engines (220, 270 & 320) but most of these diesel injector images look the same to me!!

Are these injectors universal on CDI or would I need a specific part number to mine (Reg is KU53GYJ and VIN is WDB2112062A324764). Can you please advise the applicable part number(s)?

Also do they need to be learnt/ reprogrammed once installed on the vehicle?

Thanks for your help in advance..

Thanks Grumpy:)
Been through this thread but can't find the link/ advice for getting my own injector refurbished. Do I need to look up "diesel Bob"?

The part numbers on my injectors are A6480700187: Is this MB part? Also 0445110: Is this Bosch part number?

Sorry the Bosch part number is 0445110 156.

You need A6480700187 but make sure that the Bosch number is the same as yours - 0445110 156. Also check that any that you find are for your engine, using the engine code, which is the first six digits of your engine number.

If you don't find any and go along the refurbing your own route, these are the details of Diesel Bob. Diesel Bob Tuning - Bobs Busy Don't know if you're anywhere near him, but have you checked to see if there is anyone local to you who refurbs injectors?
